Terms of Service

Welcome to Franklinn. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of franklinn.ai, the Franklinn translation platform, APIs, browser extensions, and any related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, connecting a messaging channel, or sending traffic through the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms. In that case, "you" and "your" refer to that entity.

1. What Franklinn does

Franklinn provides real-time AI translation for customer conversations across channels such as Telegram, WhatsApp Business, Discord, Instagram DM, Messenger, LINE, and Slack, plus the AI Copilot for querying your own customer-service data. We also provide "Account Shield" protections designed to reduce the risk of platform bans — these are best-effort measures, not guarantees.

You agree not to use the Service to:

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if we reasonably believe you have violated this section.

4. Connected channels and third-party services

When you connect Telegram, WhatsApp Business, Discord, Instagram, LINE, Slack, Messenger, Intercom, Zendesk, or any other third-party service ("Connected Channel"), you authorize Franklinn to access, process, and send messages on your behalf to operate the Service. Your use of each Connected Channel is also subject to that provider's own terms. We are not responsible for Connected Channel availability, bans, or policy changes made by those providers.

5. Account Shield and platform bans

Franklinn's Account Shield applies best-effort techniques (human-paced sending, residential IP routing, style randomization, risk radar) to reduce the probability of platform bans. We do not guarantee that your accounts will not be restricted, throttled, or banned by any third-party platform. Any uptime, ban-rate, or response-time figures on our marketing pages are historical averages, not promises.

Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable for the current billing period, but you can cancel to prevent future charges. Annual subscriptions may be refunded on a pro-rata basis within 14 days of purchase. Crypto top-ups and PAYG balances are non-refundable. Statutory consumer rights under your local law are unaffected.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including all software, models, logos, and content we provide (other than your messages and data), is owned by Franklinn or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service during your subscription. You retain ownership of the messages, customer data, and configurations you submit ("Customer Data").

9. AI features and outputs

Translations, AI Copilot answers, macros, and other outputs are generated by machine-learning models and may be imperfect or occasionally wrong. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before they reach your customers where accuracy matters (legal, medical, financial, safety). We do not use your Customer Data to train third-party foundation models.

We handle Customer Data per our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

11. Warranty disclaimer

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Franklinn disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or meet your requirements.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Franklinn's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid to Franklinn in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 100. In no event shall Franklinn be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or platform bans of accounts you control.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Franklinn and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim or demand (including reasonable legal fees) arising from (a) your Customer Data, (b) your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any law or third-party right.

14. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for any material breach of these Terms, for non-payment, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately; Customer Data will be retained or deleted per our Privacy Policy.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Singapore, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to use your local courts.
